The Richmond, Virginia adult recreational softball team, Hail Mary, is back in action for the 2025 season, currently underway and filled with excitement and camaraderie. Enthusiastic players of all skill levels have returned to the field, ready to engage in friendly competition while prioritizing fun, socialization, and exercise. This 2025 season promises to uphold the team’s positive spirit and inclusivity, welcoming new members who share the same light-hearted and fun-loving approach to the game. With games scheduled every Wednesday evening at the Glen Allen Softball Complex, Hail Mary continues to prove that while winning is nice, enjoying the game together is what truly matters.
Hail Mary Softball is excited to announce its participation in the newest USA Softball affiliated league, now operated by FXA Softball. This year’s league has expanded significantly, welcoming a diverse array of teams across multiple skill levels, providing a more competitive and social atmosphere for all participants. Currently competing in a mid-tier bracket, Hail Mary holds an impressive record of 6 wins and 4 losses as of May 22. (It is noteworthy that the former 804-Softball league, previously affiliated with the NSA, has been absorbed into the FXA organization.)
We look forward to seeing many of you out on the fields this year! And, as always, interested prospective players are invited to inquire about playing for Hail Mary.
