(Sorry for the long delay on posts this season, folks. Its been a busy one. -Editor)
Hail Mary was back for a 2023 campaign in two exciting acts.
For our summer season, the regular Hail Mary misfits returned for games at Moody Middle School and also at the Hunton Community Center, both of Henrico County. The season ran from May unto June, which your favorite Hail Mary softball team concluded with a record of 14 wins and 2 losses. We were regular season champs, and took second place in the post-season tourney!
For the fall season, our record stands at 9 wins and 3 losses, and we’re looking forward to playoffs next Wednesday (weather permitting).
We would like to thank the 804 Softball League for once again putting together two fantastic seasons for us. And we also want to thank our team’s sponsor, Nations Capital Energy Solutions (NCES), for covering our team’s registration fee. We hope we did you proud! And, finally, we extend a hearty thank you to all the other teams who came out to play — and brought their great attitudes — without you, none of this would have been possible either.
Photos from the Fall season are available. And, as always, players interested in playing with Hail Mary are encouraged to express their interest using our web form.
