Hosted at the fields at Moody Middle School, Hail Mary opened the Fall 2022 season with two wins over Capital Ale House. In the first game, Hail Mary’s offense produced 14 runs against Capital Ale’s 2. For the second contest, Hail Mary notched 6 runs to Capital Ale’s 1.
Both teams enjoyed the contest, and spent the night passing jokes between the dug outs. Good-natured laughter was a common sound, and a theme for the evening.
Photos from the evening have been uploaded to our team photos page.
Further highlights of the night included several home runs by both teams. (Given the field conditions at Moody Middle – no outfield fence – home runs are all of the “inside the park” variety.)
Next week, Hail Mary is matched up against the 2022 Summer post-season champions, 804 Misfits. In the 2022 Summer regular season, Hail Mary split its series against the Misfits. So the games next Wednesday should be exciting!
Cheers to Capital Ale House for such an amazing start to the Fall season!
