Our Hail Mary team was back on the field for a 2 game series against Swingin’ Dingers. Games began promptly at 6:15p at Pouncey Tract softball fields in Henrico County. And, by game time, the temperature and weather were perfect for fall softball!
Though Hail Mary dropped both games in the series to our opponents, Swingin’ Dingers, both teams seemed to enjoy the contest immensely. Highlights of the games included a number of stellar catches, including a shallow and fast pop-fly caught by Anna (C) behind the plate for a clutch out. Additionally, a short video clip of Faith (1B) hitting a scorching shot to mid left-center field is also available below, and should give a flavor of what our games are like. Shaleeta (2B) and Kevin (3B) scored on the play.
As is our trend, other photos from the game are posted on our team photo page.
As always, interested parties are welcome to contact the team to express an interest in playing. In recent weeks, we’ve added a number of new players this way. Come out and join us!
