There are good games, and then there are GREAT games. September 3 fit neatly into that second category as Hail Mary collected two wins against ONE Magenta Sox, who are easily among the most affable and cordial players in our league. Since both teams first faced off this summer, the ONE Magenta Sox games have been a highlight of our schedule. Indeed, ONE’s corporate team “get’s it” with respect to the coed recreational style of play, and it is always a pleasure. What a pleasant opponent! The whole lot of them! They are truly an asset to their corporate brand, and to the broader 804 league.
The 804 coed softball league contests were scored 23-9 and 12-4 in Hail Mary’s favor, and featured a number of exciting plays by both teams. For Hail Mary, highlights included a near homerun by Faith (OF) and a triple by Brendon (SS). Brian (OF) also went home covered in dirt, which is his norm.
As usual, photos of the game have been published to our team photo page. And any players interested in joining our squad are invited to submit their interest by using our sign up form.
